That’s kinda the point I was making. The meme says “these guys kept child sex slaves”. Someone responds that Clinton didn’t have the same level of involvement as Trump and Epstein. Someone else responded “they want to believe their guy is good”. My response is basically “saying that he isn’t a pimp isn’t saying that he’s good”.

There are different levels of evil. All should be dealt with. Maybe the worst (the pimps, traffickers, ringleaders and financiers) should get priority, especially if they pose a greater threat to everyone else? Pointing that out is in no way excusing the lesser evil.

I haven’t seen anyone in this thread saying anything positive about Clinton. At most, a few folks have pointed out that we haven’t seen any rape accusations against Clinton in the files. I doubt that you’ll find anyone here who doesn’t want this whole mess properly investigated and for all of the guilty parties to get appropriate punishment.

I feel like I could have this same argument with a Trump supporter: Trumpie: “Well, Clinton’s in the files too” Me: ”I haven’t seen anyone tangible accusations, but if he committed crimes then lock him up” T: “You just want to defend your guy” Me: “Um, I really don’t. I’m worried about the implications that the child sex ring was a honeypot that was supported by multiple intelligence agencies. My understanding is that Maxwell has ties to Mossad and the US government clearly had knowledge of this shit for decades, yet the few investigations went nowhere. Is it simply because the perpetrators were wealthy and influential? Or was it because the whole operation was viewed as an important intelligence asset? In addition to funding the bombing of schools and refugee camps, are my tax dollars also funding a child sex trafficking rings?

Yeah, the Clintons have done absolutely terrible things. I would never claim otherwise. I don’t remember the Clinton administration very well but I don’t doubt that he’s a war criminal.

There is a world of room between “good” and “ran a child sex trafficking ring”. Clinton may be a POS for many reasons and he may have visited Epstine island and maybe even raped children (we don’t know at this point but anyone in the flight logs is sus). That is all absolutely terrible but it’s still very different than kidnapping 10’s or hundreds of children to rape and pimp. And the files seem to indicate that Trump was actively involved in this scheme for decades.

Most of the founding father owned slaves. Raping slaves was not an uncommon practice at the time and there were no restrictions on the appropriate age of the slaves one rapes. Thomas Jefferson may have started his “relationship” with Sally Hemming when she was 14.

I think it would take a decent effort to get clear proof about the founding fathers raping child slaves, but it is known that they owned slaves and many had illegitimate children with slaves and raping child slaves was a common practice at the time so I think it’s a strong possibility.

Why is any consumer anywhere outside of the US purchasing any of our shit? I recently saw a graph on the global sales of US liquor and most countries had like a 10-20% drop in sales and only Canada went hard with a 60-80% drop (apologies, I’m pulling this from memory so it’s pretty vague).

The thing is, whoever did it was pretty smart about much of the crime, which is why the story of how Luigi was caught and what they say he had on is person seems so odd relative to the behavior the previous week.

If it was Luigi, he was pretty disciplined and smart before, during and immediately after the crime with the only leak being showing his face at the hostel (which he may have been required to do when he gave them ID).

If he did do it and really had all that evidence on him, maybe he wanted to get caught? It seems crazy that anyone would hang onto a 3d printed gun when it would be pretty easy to destroy and dispose of it in multiple pieces and locations.

I’ve said it before but I truly believe that Luigi would still be free if he had plucked his eyebrows, regardless of whether he did it.

Edit to add, maybe he thought he’d get shot or captured at the scene and didn’t think too far beyond the immediate getaway? And with the stress of his picture up all over the news and social media, he kinda wasn’t thinking straight?

The one with the monopoly money? How do they know that it was his backpack? I heard them talking about the backpack and monopoly money non stop but I have heard nothing about how they are so sure that it’s related to the case. NYC is huge and there’s a lot of people who lose backpacks all the time and there’s a lot of folks who would want to troll and stir up shit.

I don’t trust the police so I don’t assume the items they claim that they got off of Luigi are legit. We’ll see what his lawyer says in court. We also don’t know if the gun that they say he had was the murder weapon. Have they done ballistics analysis or anything yet?

Notice how hard they’re going after the shooter? The NYPD is actually making an effort for once and the FBI is involved even though there doesn’t seem to be any evidence that this is a federal matter (has the shooter crossed state lines? Has the victim’s civil rights been violated?). We’ve always known that law enforcement is for them and not us but it’s pretty blatant.
