There were shadowy conspiracists lurking in the dark alleys of Washington, and hiding from the glaring sun in the High Desert of California, but they were laughably easy prey when the Martian lizard people, the subterranean Vril-empowered mole-men, and the globalist pedophile Commies did show up.

No system has ever worked at scale. Capitalism is literally destroying the planet we live on, Feudalism wasn’t any better, and no other system was ever applied at such a scale.
Maybe the scale is the problem, and the Anarchists were right all along.

  • Yeah, just read that their newest server OS puts a recovery partition to the right of the primary partition by default.
Which is completely useless on a server, and prevents you from growing the partition when you run out of space.

At this point, they’re basically saying “Office and AD guarantee our monopoly, so we can push out literal monkey shit, and tell admins to deal with it.”

this is fucking catastrophic for the entirety of humanity.

I agree it’s dangerous, but 85% of humanity live in countries that are already either on USA’s shit list or don’t-give-a-shit list, and have never benefited from a Democratic US government either.

Last time I applied, I filtered out anyone requiring 40h/week.
I now work 35h/week, with 42 days PTO I can (actually, have to) take.
Pay is for a full time position and supports my wife and me comfortably.
Flexibility is given, I just (at 8pm) told my team leader I won’t be coming in tomorrow.
My resumé isn’t exactly an HR department’s dream, I got a BSc in Ecology when I was 31.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, what you’re describing isn’t normal. And it shouldn’t, and doesn’t have to be, either.
