No worries. Did it actually ping you properly? From a brief search on search-lemmy.com, it seems it’s up to each individual app/client to do a substring search for mentions of your username. For another user to “mention” you (make a clickable link, but not necessarily notify you since that’s not implemented apparently), they have to manually link it: [@username@instance.tld](https://instance.tld/u/username).

To be clear, it was momentary lapses in consciousness during routine cleanings, not due to anesthesia.

What if you meditate or go to sleep or otherwise relax it enough to take it out? That should work if the only thing keeping it in is the involuntary stress/fear response of muscle tension.

Store associates (and their little stock search devices) exist so you don’t have to memorize the store or search for an hour. Just ask them a question, that’s literally their edit: our job.

What else should they give you by default? Genuinely asking.
