  • There are some benefits in some circumstances, but a lot of people who use linux do so not because of any tangible benefit, but because they support open source, and don’t like the idea of one (arguably a couple) big corporation having a monopoly of that magnitude and deciding alone the way tech should evolve.

    Speaking for myself, I’m from a developing country, and I mostly use dated tech, some of which don’t even support windows anymore, and it gives me the possibility of extending the lifespan of my stuff. This is the main tangible benefit for me.

    I didn’t seem to me that the rat carried it all the way with the intention to share with the other one. It even pulls it away from the other at some point. The video gives me the impression that it was going to take his finding and the other rat appeared randomly.


  • I don’t know about you, but it seems to me that phone OSes and apps are designed to steal our attention at all the times. I find it hard to do stuff while receiving notifications here and there, or even knowing that a new notification may pop up at any time. If fells like trying to do something while someone is watching and poking me all the time.
