Additionally, check out the previous revolutions from around the world! Most of them didn’t happen on a basis of theory, but of people determined to change their condition.

Take Romania, for example. Sure, that’s an example of a revolution which ended up replacing one disaster with another, but even that holds a lesson for us: word-of-mouth is king, don’t give into desperation when figuring out the next attempt.

We are talking about two completely different things, you expect run-down people to think logically and clearly about something as complex as an alternative*(edit) societal system while actively existing in some of the worst social contexts we’ve seen in decades, while we are talking about acting in such a manner as to free up the cognitive bandwidth necessary to determine what you demand.

It’s like any other toxic relationship, you can’t begin to heal until you’ve exited said relationship.

To clarify, by any means necessary. Start demanding, start opposing, start rallying. Spread the word, keep the reality of things alive in people’s awareness, because the natural instinct is to retreat and deny in order to protect oneself, but that’s exactly the trap the Right sets and then springs for a massive boost in support from downtrodden, desperate people.

Edit to add: the Right and Capitalism, because they both infiltrate and exist by solving problems they themselves create, thus garnering support through necessity.

Revolutionary action is 100% actionable. Always and forever.

Late edit, because I got triggered, apparently: I swear this would be the dream. Like, just to see something else, at this point friggin’ anything, other than what we’ve been seeing pretty much since humans first decided they wanted to have more than the other guy. I’m so fucking tired of seeing people stepping over other people’s throats just to get an inch higher up the ladder, a ladder which is purpose-built to serve the exact opposite effect by those who already own the grand majority of us.

It’s not even for us at this point, speaking of those of us who are alive on this planet. I, for one, can feel that fucking ideological corruption still clinging to my moral fibre like a rancid mold no matter how much I try to scrub myself of it. God damn it, I wanted to have kids at one point, but I sure as shit won’t bring’em into this mess!

I honestly have no idea what the ultimate machinations behind such a plan would be, I don’t even believe that’s necessarily the case, just something which strikes me as almost so ridiculously bad, that it has to be fake. Maybe I’m just an optimist, hell if I know…

But to give into flights of fancy, one of the reasons why I could see someone wanting to prolong a massive conflict (maybe even two!) would be to sell weapons and generally implements of war. Would track with past behaviour. I’m sure there are plenty of other imaginable economic and political reasons, but that’s beyond speculation.

They did start selling weapons to any citizen who can enter a store, ask, and pay for one while there were no conflicts quite on this scale going on, which may or may not be just a coincidence. Again, haven’t the foggiest and this is all in good… uuh… fun, I guess.

Now with even less life satisfaction?

Y’know… If I were just a liiittle bit more paranoid, this would start looking like it’s all planned out. Make the other guy so bad that people will basically have to choose between ‘mild’ genocide and a complete lunatic who wants to create a Theo-Fascistic Middle Ages kingdom.

I’m honestly not chipping into the debate, firstly because this particular moral quandary is a Kobayashi Maru type deal, secondly because I’m not American so it’s not my place. Just random thoughts…

At this point, in my completely layman’s opinion, I believe they’re a cult. Or at least they meet a lot of the common criteria, even down to isolation/alienation and the threat of rejection/retribution as a result of refusal to participate.
