5 Rs rule
Should be a norm, IMHO :)
Not restrict, but sign.
Did you like this joke? Look here for more. Oh no, you are fediversed now, oh well.
Wow, we already have enough for an average lemmy community.

A few years ago OSMAnd for iOS was much more limited than Android version. Not sure how it is today though. If that’s still the case, could be just features are limited and app does less work.
Or it could be fast Apple processors, better rendering API or anything else.
Screenshot from OSMAnd on Pixel 7P for illustration
On the screenshot you see: vector offline map, 3d hill shadows, height countour lines, 3d view, many route layers, navigation and POIs rendered.

Pixel 7 Pro, using OpenGL, offline maps. All of my custom profiles are not smooth. It takes up to 2-3 seconds to render everything.
It’s still good. Considering how much useful information could be rendered in OSMAnd at once, I’m happy with what I have and hope for future improvements :)
Right picture if I need to traverse fast flowing mountain river.
Computer, wake me up at zero six hundred hours!
Many european countries have great immigration laws and opportunities. Some companies will offer relocation assistance and reimbursment. It’s a challange, but it’s possible.
Just please leave your cars behind :)
Thank you for clarification and context.
I’m daydreaming about potential feature and sell point some manufacturers may adapt to bring this regulation further into a win-win for themselves and customers. So yes, essentially bring me 3310 back :)
Something that I haven’t seen mentioned on this topic:
having a spare charged battery with you also have so much more sense than carrying a powerbank. No losses transferring power to phone, no excessive heat, MUCH lighter.
This is what we have for radios (walkie-talkies), drones, cameras, but not for phones, where we really need this.
Even funnier with the front guy’s (Medic) patch saying ‘Shut the fuck up all of you’ in Ukrainian.
