Like everyone else, I suggest Lutris or Heroic Games Launcher for most games. Lutris has a relatively straightforward interface to walk you through what it offers. It can even help you install EA and Ubisoft games. Heroic launcher allows you to install games from the Epic and GOG stores. Minecraft has multiple launchers available. Plus, there’s RetroArch and DOSBox for most retro stuff. There are system-specific emulators like Dolphin for GameCube. There are even some fun, free games like “Super Tux Kart” and “Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead.”
Everything I just mentioned is available for download using the “Discover” app in desktop mode of Bazzite. If you have questions about specific games, I might be able to help.
Disabling JavaScript through ublock origin also does the same (horrible) thing, frequently.
Your parents are there.

Hmmm. I don’t believe I’ve tried pirate IPTV. What are the best pirate IPTV sites? So I can avoid them, of course.

I’m currently reading “All the Knowledge in the World: A History of the Encyclopedia” by Simon Garfield. It mentions a similar thought held by some around the time of the creation of the Encyclopedia Brittanica. (Late 1700s, if I recall correctly)
There were too many books, and they were being printed by just anyone. Who needs a really long dictionary, anyway?
It’s a type of fish, and they are making word plays with the name of the fish. Why? I’m not sure of the origin of this one. I imagine it’s like the beans or the beef stroganoff memes - the origin doesn’t matter much at this point.
Fresh, clean balls are definitely more pleasant to suck. Haven’t tried it with peppermint. Wanna give me a taste?
Gameboy camera was grayscale not sepia.
There’s gotta be little stones somewhere. Also, I live in a metro area and there’s plenty of gravel around here! It’s also in Tennessee, though.
I didn’t consider the balancing part, but gravel parking lots negate your other points in my opinion. But, then again, my confusion of shoes and stones negates everything anyway.
I’ve ran into these issues before, but not on the current version. It has been getting a lot of updates lately. It’s gone from version 0.36 up to 0.41 in just the last couple weeks. It’s better than Lemmur, the only other Lemmy app currently available on F-droid. I know apps outside of f-droid exist, but I’m a simple, FOSS man.
I’m not who you were talking to but instead the guy who suggested Jerboa in the first place. Jerboa has improved a lot just in the last month or so since reddit closed 3rd party apps. Currently my only real problems with Jerboa is that it doesn’t play well with AOSP keyboards and if your instance is down and you try to log in, it will change your username to anonymous. And, basically you have to log back in (once your instance is working again). The log back in thing can be annoying since I apparently didn’t choose the most stable instance. (I’ve got alternate accounts now for that.)
Woah woah woah. They are making slide for Lemmy? Slide was my favorite! Thanks for letting me know!

It’s open source and works very well.
Nah, “new vintage memes” just means modern memes made in the style of circa 2005-2015. The first answer is semi correct. It even references a gif commonly used for memes. The second answer and the following explanation of how vintage memes work is made-up and just plain wrong. The fact that both memes are meta and mention looking at memes is coincidental, but I gotta say that it’s pretty accurate.
I’m in a very similar boat. I’ve been telling my husband gently that almost nobody in my family makes it to 70…
