I love these asinine takes. I’ve yet to have a single person come up with a convincing argument about how I helped Trump, but let’s see you give it a shot.

I didn’t vote for Kamala(or Trump, before some braindead moron claims otherwise)

    I live in California.

California historically has voted blue for the last ~60 years.

Predictably, Kamala won California by a large margin like any sane person expected.

So how did my vote help Trump? I showed my displeasure with the Democrat Party AND Kamala still got my states electoral votes regardless. So how, exactly, did my vote support Trump?

Or is there actually a shitload of nuance to this issue that you conveniently throw out the window? This is a braindead MAGA level cope.

  • So when I wrote about bots, I was describing them as an effect created by a cause. You went and reversed the two and are thinking I blamed bots.

    No.

What I said was that voting based moderation is a popularity contest. An easy way to win popularity contests is to stuff the ballot. On the internet, you can do this with bots. Ergo, the rise in bots all over the Internet is a consequence of our popularity based algorithms and systems. That type of moderation just doesn’t work. But please, keep misunderstanding people and then blaming others. I’m sure that’ll help.

If you’re gonna disagree with my idea, at least get it right. You’re not being downvotted heavily for not agreeing with the hive mind in the right way. You’re being downvotted for lacking reading comprehension and going off on a crazy sounding tangent.

  • Ahhh, the rallying cry of “just downvote it”. I’d insert the “this your first time?” gif here if I could. Leaving a community to self moderate invariably turns into a popularity contest, and then when one group eventually takes over, an echo chamber usually filled with the same regurgitated spam. “If you don’t like it just downvote it” or it’s reverse “well it has a lot of upvotes, so someone must like it”(welcome to why we have so many bots today…) always ends up catering to the terminally online at the detriment of the average person. People far too often will speak with absolute confidence about things they have never even experienced, but because it’s well formatted, it’s sent to the top. The Gell-Mann Amnesia effect describes this in part.

Way to miss the point. It’s about some people acting like these are choices rather than “this is the best I can do”. Would you really prefer the inconsistency of the gig economy if well paying consistent jobs were available? Would you eat rice and beans for every meal if you actually had the choice? Wouldn’t you prefer just a few more square feet in your tiny home(maybe in the kitchen or bathroom)?

Acting like people are making all of these choices out of genuine desire and not a good helping of “this is what I have to do to survive” is what the meme is criticizing and what you on your high horse up there failed to see.

Get off your high horse. It’s a joke about layout and styling. It’s the “don’t dead, open inside” meme from way back.

No one is ignoring the issue. It’s plastered on the front page daily. We’ll be just fine without you. You’re not spearheading some unknown cause. Go touch grass.

Honestly, this schtick is so tired and played out. I don’t believe you are who you claim to be, and even if you are, so fucking what? Big fucking deal. Its honestly pathetic if you really are her constantly going “hey look, it’s me!”. And if you’re not her, why are you running around the internet cosplaying it?

You seem mentally ill and everyone needs to stop enabling your delusions.

Like someone else said, the edges break through. We can tell a light blur to obfuscate your tidy room from a complete screen change that breaks occasionally, revealing your mess. It’s not that well hidden.
