  • Speaking as a Marxist who sees the PRC and the CPC as a current progressive world force - why are all your posts so aggressively-ridiculous strawman slop, as if its aimed to alienate working people? It’s the flavor I see in dirtbag-left online circlejerks and never among communists I’ve seen in real life, and I’ve met thousands of us.

Someone posted an image that says “Verify you are human”, with the test being “I stand with Palestine”.

The implication is that those who do not, are not human.

Yes, joking about how Zionist scum (and apathetic people) lack humanity is dehumanization. The image is very literally saying some is not human if they don’t stand with Palestine.

And to recap what I said, this isn’t some moral objection - death to the Zionist Regime and those who empower it. The problem is that dehumanization of humans is an anti-materialist delusion, which has historically led to underestimating enemies.

No, it isn’t standing with Palestine, nor standing against it. It’s simply pointless and a tactical error.

Dehumanizing is a mistake that the Nazis made, leaving them vulnerable to their own propaganda. They expected all their victims to be sneaky, cowardly and inferior, and they paid for that mistake.

Dehumanizing the new wave of fascists leaves us open to the same mistake.

The people committing genocide in Palestine are human, and it’s important for us to stop them by any means necessary, including killing them.

It’s a fair point - one of the most important steps in change is understanding the power we have. Not just as individuals, but collectively.

Don’t wish for a future. Instead, want to build that future. I want to build a functioning justice system.

  • If you don’t and just enjoy the thought of killing people you disagree with then you should be out celebrating alongside MAGA over the murder of Renee Good.

    This is a bizarre comparison.

UnitedHealth, and therefore its leadership, are collectively responsible for the systemic social murder of many thousands. They (like the rest of the industry) are so ingrained into bipartisan government though lobbying and other forms of soft power that we have consistently seen no legal justice, and have no reason to expect it.

Renee Good, on the other hand, was not responsible for mass death and not an ongoing threat to millions of innocent citizens.

I don’t think many anti-capitalists suggest abolishing currency entirely.

Why don’t you think that? You’re right that abolishing currency isn’t implied by abolishing capitalism, but plenty of anti-capitalists advocate for eventually abolishing money in any form (I assume that’s what you mean by abolishing currency, although there are other interpretations), and some others advocate to abolish it as soon as possible (I believe, although I can’t prove right now, that many intentional communities/communes have done this).

Communism’s long-term aim is ultimately to create a communist society. That is, a public, stateless, classless, moneyless society - goods are distributed by need rather than for wealth.

We don’t want people filling swimming pools with cheese and diving into it.

I actually had to check to make sure some e-celeb hadn’t done this stunt for content. I don’t think currency is what stops people from doing that, just like how for-profit healthcare systems aren’t what’s keeping people from injuring themselves.
