Holy shit dude. That’s the book I remember seeing as a kid.

What book is that? I remember a book with made up monsters in it from when I was a kid and have searched for years and can’t find the name of it. It’s been rather annoying.
Shepard’s pie is Irish btw. Not a surprise a scouser would be able to make a good one when Liverpool has a large Irish community.
I love the NHS in my country. I’m currently in hospital right now and the staff are fucking amazing but it’s underfunded so I got stuck in an isolation room all of Saturday after being transferred to another hospital. Anyway the staff isn’t the problem, it’s the lack of support and funding that’s killing the quality of the service which everyone i.e patients, staff, even politicians all agree on.
But if that’s for news, where do I get my HQ jemes?
I used to look through an Argos catalogue when I was a kid around Xmas time for gift ideas.
I’m not worried about pornhub/redtube/xhamster/xvideos/chaturbate/only fans leaking info but more someone hacking in. There’s a potential goldmine of blackmail/sextortion material from seeing what fetishes someone has.

Memes@lemmy.ml•Something tells me this might not be a good year for games...
3·2 years agoTrails through daybreak, dragons dogma 2, avowed, Indiana Jones are all games I’m looking forward to off the top of my head. Trails through daybreak is actually the game I’m most excited about.
Yaddle’s ok though.

5·2 years agoWait till you hear about the guy who fled Sodom with his two daughters who then got him heavily drunk and raped him because they though god wanted them to.
Yep. I can remember not too long ago that French police blinded people when dealing with the yellow jacket riots. Also the president’s bodyguard being there dressed as a cop and hospitalised someone instead of protecting the president. There’s also the murder of Stephen Lawrence in the UK and every year here there’s multiple cops charged with raping women or using excessive force against a minority.
Cops are shit everywhere.
I read the fellowship years ago and ended up in a situation where I had all 3 books but they’re all different editions which annoyed me so I bought an all in one, the gilded pages and coloured maps and the extended glossary were all what sold me on the one I bought.
My killer is videogames, movies and TV shows and books. I bought a limited edition of Lord of the rings where it’s got gold leaf pages, coloured maps and is one volume and I’ve still been planning to read it 1-2 years later. It cost me 50-60 quid too.
Mixture of no money and too much to do is my experience.
I can go a long time too. I only ever leave the house if I need to and most days I don’t.
Also the new version, which might be beta still, just sends you to a web browser to do shit in. If I wanted to open emails in a web browser in the first place then I’d do that.
Yep. I hate having to phone support lines to be told to run basic troubleshooting like turning something off and on again when that’s the first thing that I’ll try.

12·3 years agoIt’s the text ones for me. I struggle to read the font on some of them so I can’t tell the difference between a capital letter or a lowercase one so now if they’ve the text reader for blind/partially sighted people I’ll use that.
I’m of the age where I can remember having a load of rewritable cds and DVDs plus those things that supposedly cleared up scratches now those were a scam too.
