Yeah yeah, but OP made a post about it so I thought I’d add some of the reasoning behind people being that way. I don’t care what app people use as long as I can use the one I like.

Yeah I’m aware of the alternatives but I thought it could do with some rationale as to why people aren’t overly impressed with Sync as they were on Reddit. Nothing against the app tbh, happy with the one I have.

Don’t forget this is a community built around Open Source software with many refugees who came because proprietary apps were forced on them.

This is just a tram without the tracks? Guessing it is just for charging otherwise why not just have a tram which is much safer, more space and can basically drive itself

I just wanted to introduce myself as one of the moderation team, I am a photographer and make regular use of maps to explore locations before I visit them in person, I find comparing different mapping tools very useful rather than just relying on google. I will keep my OSM account private as I prefer not to share too much information online, but I have been using the system for many years and have spent time editing and mapping a number of areas. I have moderation experience from a few other sites, including reddit and here on lemmy, so hopefully I can help steer the ship and keep things in order!
