I sort by new comments or new to try and find something I didn’t already read 3 days ago. Incoming quality content here is sloooow. Not enough people on Lemmy yet to make every page load full of freshly new interesting content… unless it’s memes you want. But even back in the old reddit days, often could find enough fresh stuff to read.
Running an inferior and privacy invading OS just to waste all that expensive equipment on gaming. It’s such a waste it’s offensive.
Still better than running windows so you can waste a PC on bloody games.

I suspect imposing this will just split the community, a new community would be born, and this one would become less and less shiny over time until it’s just a shell of a very few small core users. Not because what you propose is bad or wrong, but people are lazy… and memes usually speak for themselves.
