Fascism isn’t just a term for people doing bad things though I hate to be that guy, but it was a distinct movement that started in the 20th century. Doesn’t excuse any of the atrocities committed but colonialism was initially carried out by European monarchs most white people didn’t get to vote for that. White people were constantly reconstituting their philosophical systems to explain why they actually had the right to enslave and exploit people. Shit goes back to the ancient Greeks.
His point isn’t that stupid though, would you rather be 70 and have grown up in Gaza or be 70 in a none apartheid state. Obviously everybody wants to live as long as possible. Either way I kinda don’t care about the 1940s and why people are so obsessed with arguing about them is beyond me especially since I’m not an academic. We have our very own unique set of political problems we have to deal with now.
Well the USA and Britain weren’t fascist though they were bourgeoise liberal democracies like Dessalines said. Francoist Spain was fascist, but with a more Catholic bent as opposed to Nazism which wanted to create a weird neo occult religion.
The lady who got shot in Minneapolis.
Just want to point out that Mussolini was an anarchist, and he was considered an opportunist by many before he swapt sides.
Loved this comic as a child, and I still do as an adult.
I would fall asleep in every single ideology class. Also socialists countries did/have done some fucked up shit, no point in pretending they haven’t. Take the stolen babies in the DDR as an example.
And yes I know the catholic church also stole babies in Ireland.
Found some people talking about it in German stoner mags
The cool thing is soviet hemp wasn’t restricted to the same weird THC laws that western industrial hemp was which only benefited big AG , it naturally had a higher THC content so I’ve read some stuff about East German guys smoking industrial hemp it wasn’t as strong as the drug strains but you probably got a buzz.

2·2 months agoExcept that guy didn’t come up with that comic, he stole the text from some one and did the drawing. Bit like Corey Doctrows whole entshitification schtick, also taken from some one else whom he refuses to credit.
I’ve worked for various militaries and governments, the decisions I’ve made have hurt people, when I say hurt I don’t mean physical harm but the choices I’ve made have impacted people lives. When people celebrate war they have the urge to hurt people whether they want to admit it or not.
Yeah it is I’m not denying it, but as a person who has often experienced the urge to hurt people I can’t pretend I’m some saint I just do everything I can to avoid that urge and the people and things that try to stir it up in me…
Of course it doesn’t I completely agree with you, but honestly the military is fucking demonic and the urge to harm other people can come from lots of places, I wish I could say I’m immune to it I’m not sadly and neither are you probably. I think you’re misinterpreting the meme a bit, I feel it’s a lot more mean spirited. This isn’t a personal attack by the way.
Mad? No, but will I point out that the US military/every military spends ungodly sums of money on propaganda whether it be movies or video games or books or art to get dumb young men to join. Do I blame people for being propagandized from birth? No. Does that excuse the people who joined just because they wanted to kill people? No. Do I think people are capable of change? Yes. Its not like there isn’t plenty of military propaganda on this website.
How I feel rn: 😮💨
I don’t care about the Soviet constitution anymore dude for all I know somebody gave me a fake version to read. I remember reading it in some version of the constitution I found online like 14 years ago though so I made a joke about it. Honestly seeing how most contemporary States work having a constitutional guarantee to something doesn’t mean much anyways seeing as powerful people tend pick and chose when to enforce their own laws and that seems to be the case everywhere so I doubt it was very different in the USSR.
Anyways it would be cool if people found a way to stop destroying the environment and starting wars I’m still waiting for that political miracle.
Lots of them are yes, I’d say capitalism is the latest mode in which humans can express their problems.
Or pilates less stress on the knees, I can’t so squats anymore
