On Bluesky I’m on a list called “Tankies and their followers”

This has happened to me on Lemmy and Reddit too. I forget what it was I said - an instance where it seemed to me Russia was technically in the right about something - and there was a big old pile on and many downvotes. I think the assumption was “agree with Russia on anything and you’re wrong about everything”

I think what this shows is that the idea of communism attracts the worst type of people as leaders. They enjoy being in charge of everything about a country, and/or can’t believe people don’t act the way communist theory says they would act under communism, so kill them for being corrupt traitors in order to fix the system.

Everyone who wants to fly to America has to. Am curious what would happen if I ticked Yes next to “have you ever associated with communists”. Do they just kick you out or is there a lengthy interrogation process first?

I was thinking the same, but the mods would have to be pretty spectacular and game-changing. Not sure why I feel this way, other than having played Fallout 3, NV & 4, and The Outer Worlds has probably worn out my desire for open world shooters
