Eh, what “meme” actually means and what it currently means in popular culture are two different things. People never understood what it really means, but the most commonly used meaning of it is constantly changing.

The word itself was coined by Richard Dawkins in 1976. But it wasn’t a commonly used term until around 2005, even then it was used exclusively for specific things and few people knew its actual meaning. But memes in their literal sense have almost always been a thing, and they’re common among many species.

How has no one mentioned the randomly capitalized words, space before commas, and just general shittyness of grammar? I find it hard to believe someone would write like that without consciously making it as bad as possible just so people would comment on it. And I’m in just as much disbelief that no one has said anything about it.

Woa, I used “da-kuk” as a username for a while as a young teen. “Kuk” means cock in Swedish, so it’s “the cock” in swenglish. Edgy 13 year old humor.

I’m a swede with fully swedish parents, and I have always lived here, but I’ve always sucked at Swedish, both spelling and vocabulary.

But I’m way better at English, I often use English words because I can’t remember or simply don’t know the Swedish equivalent, and sometimes I just give up and fully use English for whatever I’m trying to explain. I wouldn’t say I’m great at grammar overall, but I’m above average based on how bad most people are.
