Unser immer erste Mittel der Wahl - der Regimechange - ist gescheitert und hat Prigozhin verbrannt.
Aussichtsreiche Kandidaten für Putins Nachfolge wären Viktor Zubkov (ein Bürokrat), Dmitry Medvedev (der Hitzkopf mit den Atombombendrohungen) und Mikhail Mishustin (der Ökonom, der Russlands Wirtschaft kriegstauglich gemacht hat).
Vermutlich wirds Medvedev.

Sieht nicht so aus, als würde dieser Afghanistankrieg per Regierungswechsel enden. Russland hat sich im Glauben auf einen Konflikt mit der NATO auf ein kriegerisches Jahrzehnt eingestellt. Dank den USA ist der Ölpreis hoch genug, um das auch locker zu finanzieren. Ich vermute, Russland lässt den Ukrainekrieg erstmal weiter schwelen und genießt den traditionell größeren Zusammenhalt von Nationen, die sich im Krieg befinden.
Das russische Vielvölkergemisch ist eher stoisch, entbehrungsreiche Kriege gewohnt und wurde schon immer von Oligarchen und Monarchen regiert. Ich denke, eine natürliche Revolution von innen ist quasi ausgeschlossen und Putin weiß wonach er suchen muss, um unsere Revolutionskeime zu entdecken.
Hoffen wir mal, dass Putin nicht einfach an Altersschwäche wegstirbt, denn der Nachfolger ist wahrscheinlich deutlich aggressiver.

It takes a long time to fully deplete the male population of a country like Ukraine. They are Slavs and fight till the end (literally to the last Ukrainian). The US just needs to keep Starlink available and keep feeding targeting info. Ukraine does the rest. Sure, they will eventually run out of men. But they will then send the women too and keep the fight going for another few years.
Ukraine is the best-possible proxy ever. That war will keep going with or without further western funding.

But the actual problem to be solved is not the system, but the minority of people who always rise to the top in any system and ruin it for everyone else. There are always positions of power and people happy to exploit them. That is something, no system so far was able to solve.

Actually a good point. Being regime changed by the US is the #1 cause of death of socialist governments. They usually become either religious dictatorships or drug lord monarchies afterward.
