Come on, you can’t (I presume) ban someone and then ask them for sources.

Ministry of Internal Affairs, successor to the NKVD (Peoples Commissariat)

Something I didn’t say is that of course things have to be made for being emoji sized. Things can be hard to make out at that size, so just taking any picture and posting it as an emoji might not work.

Anything can become emoji sized if you just add emoji to the title ()
Lemmy also has support for adding custom emojies that will show up in the emoji selector (at least on the web ui, I think many apps don’t have support for selecting emojies). It requires the admins of your instance to add them though. You can get the emojies from another instance by using the addon mathemachristian linked to.

I believe the frontend uses markdown-it proper.

No it is alt text in the square brackets and title in the quotations

It shouldn’t but the markdown parser is for whatever reason not that good.

Even an anticommunist can potentially make a good book about a communist subject, or even if it isnt it can potentially be read critically to learn stuff.
Ad hominem. Probably a piece of shit, but doesn’t directly tell about the book.
Even reactionary sources can be useful.
I’m not saying these books are good, simply that you can surely do a better job.

It’s “tankie” and it’s someone that supports sending a taxidriver to a year in a labor camp because he slid into an old guy that was jaywalking

What makes you think so?
I tried searching around, only time someone gave an answer to the source they pointed to this https://xcancel.com/scatterbrrrain/status/2010136095757852739#m
It’s also the earliest I’ve found, but I haven’t looked that hard.
It was never made with android in mind… But it “works”
