I pay for yt family premium and Netflix but use neither of them on a regular basis.

My nephews grew up with a pretty shitty life. They don’t have a lot of fun things they can do in their situation. I figured the least I could do is give them YouTube music and some access to watch TV and movies on Netflix wherever they happen to be.

It’s the same reason my steam family is chock full of games I’ll never play.

I finally gave up the hate and embraced the poeterring-ing a few years ago. Can confirm I de-aged by 15 years as a result.

I started saying ‘thank ya kindly’ in the same ironic way in work meetings. And now it is my default phrase for saying thank you…

We sadly did not get to take that in. But the second chapter of the story is how two canadians visiting paris brought covid to basel switzerland, and caused a whole company campus to close. All while ending up trapped in .ch for ten months with only two suitcases…

But that chapter is for another post.

When my wife and I got a chance to go to musee d’orsey in Paris there was a beautiful manual clock on show. There was this annoying influencer standing about 15 ft in front of it and not letting anybody get closer. She would constantly whine that they were in her shot.

I walked right up to the mechanisms of the clock to inspect it while she just yapped at me and my wife laughed and laughed and laughed.

Best experience in Paris by far.
