Don’t pose these two things as a tradeoff. Protecting kids means a habitable planet and a world in which we protect them from predatory behavior. Also it’s really about surveillance, not protection.

Censorship protects nobody. That’s the joke.
If you want to protect kids these laws are not the way to do it. The only way to do so is social methods, not mass technological laws.
